A pioneering UK leader associated with some of the UK's most prestigious infrastructure projects, specialising working with the Energy & Decommissioning, Defence, and Transport sectors is looking for Quantity Surveyors for projects across the UK. In this role, you will manage all contractual and financial aspects of construction projects, with a focus on mechanical installations. The client would welcome applications from those both at the beginnng of their career or those with more experience. They currently have a number of high profile programmes they are engaged with and would love to build thier teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer contracts, including NEC and JCT forms

  • Oversee financial management of projects

  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery

  • Manage and produce/take off Bill of Quantities (BoQ)

  • Accurately understand and measure drawings

  • Complete monthly project reports and conduct client meetings

  • Monitor and mitigate budgets, programmes, and risk

Your experience:

  • ONC or HNC in Building Services, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying - you've got a solid technical foundation and hands-on knowledge.

  • Practical experience with mechanical installations - you understand how things work on-site, not just on paper.

  • Strong ability to measure drawings and produce accurate cost estimates that align perfectly with schedules and specifications

  • Proficiency in NEC or JCT contract administration - this is essential, and you know how to navigate the complexities confidently.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - you enjoy tackling challenges and finding smart, practical solutions.

  • Top-notch communication and negotiation skills - you can build great relationships and drive the best outcomes for all stakeholders.

  • Chartered membership with RICS or CIOB is desirable but not essential - we value your expertise whether you're chartered or working towards it.
