Role: Interim Business Analyst - Digital

Rate: £550 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Client: Major central government client

Location: Remote

Duration: ASAP to end of September 2026

An Interim delivery-focused Business Analyst to join a major public sector digital programme. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape services, influence stakeholders, and drive meaningful change.

This role will be central to digital transformation, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements. You'll challenge thinking, improve processes, and ensure solutions are aligned with strategic goals.

• Lead the discovery and definition of business and user needs
• Map current and future state processes with precision
• Run engaging, outcome-driven stakeholder workshops
• Gather, analyse, and validate requirements using a range of BA tools and techniques
• Bridge the gap between business, policy, and technical teams
• Identify opportunities for service improvements and BAU enhancements
• Ensure alignment with wider business strategy and target operating models

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in process mapping and modelling
• Proven track record in requirements gathering and analysis
• Solid commercial background with the ability to balance value and delivery
• Hands-on experience with BA tools, frameworks, and methodologies
• Confident facilitator with experience leading workshops and stakeholder sessions
• Ability to challenge constructively and drive fit-for-purpose solutions
