Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Hatfield (Hybrid Working)
Looking for a senior quantity surveyor to join a supportive and expanding team for a world leader in multi-technical installation and maintenance services, operating globally.
The Role
Are you an experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to join a successful and expanding team on a hybrid working basis? This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the commercial management of high-profile projects while contributing to the continued growth and success of the organisation.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
Lead on the commercial and contractual management of projects, ensuring profitability and value for money.
Provide accurate cost advice, forecasts, and risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee subcontractor procurement, tendering, and negotiation.
Support project teams with contractual and financial matters.
Mentor and guide junior members of the commercial team.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
About You
Ideally :
A proven track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within technical services, construction, or FM sectors.
Strong knowledge of contracts (e.g., NEC, JCT) and cost management principles.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
A degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) and professional membership (RICS or working towards) is preferred.
