Project Manager, Property - £400pd

Client: Major central government organisation

Rate: £400 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Location: Exeter (Hybrid - initially 3 days onsite)

Duration: 12 months

The Role:

An Interim, hands-on Project Manager to lead the delivery of a medium-complexity property project within a high-profile public-sector environment. This is a delivery-focused role for someone who can confidently manage stakeholders, navigate regulatory frameworks, and drive outcomes.

• Lead and coordinate multiple project workstreams from initiation through to delivery
• Apply CDM regulations in a practical, real-world setting
• Manage stakeholders at all levels, building strong engagement and alignment
• Identify risks/issues early and drive effective solutions
• Ensure projects deliver tangible business value and meet customer needs
• Motivate and guide teams without direct line management responsibility

Requirements:

• Strong, practical understanding of CDM regulations
• Proven experience delivering property/construction-related projects
• Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and complex project demands
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Track record of delivering results
• PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrable delivery of medium-complexity projects using structured methodologies
