Introduction
This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join a well-established, regulated organisation within the Public Sector sphere.
With a lean, senior procurement team, this role offers genuine visibility and influence. The organisation is entering a new strategic phase and evolving its Supplier Relationship Management approach, making this an excellent time to join and shape best practice alongside the broader procurement team.
The successful individual will partner at a senior leadership level, primarily supporting technology and data stakeholders while also contributing across wider corporate services.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic procurement activity across IT and services spend
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders including SLC and C-Suite
- Deliver compliant tender processes in line with Public Procurement Regulations
- Lead commercial negotiations and drive measurable value
- Develop and embed Supplier Relationship Management practices
- Support contract management, supplier oversight and performance governance
- Ensure procurement policy compliance and robust management information
Requirements
- ~10 years' procurement experience upwards with strong end-to-end capability
- Sound knowledge of Public Procurement Regulations (PCR2015 / PA23) and frameworks
- Proven experience delivering complex sourcing and negotiations
- Strong stakeholder management skills across senior audiences
- Experience in services procurement, with IT exposure desirable
- Demonstrable SRM and vendor management experience
Financial services regulatory experience is not essential, though experience operating in regulated environments is beneficial.
