The Agile Category & Sourcing Specialist will be a highly organised, strategic, and communicative individual, providing support across the cost team. This role operates at an expert level and will lead and execute complex cost, procurement and sourcing initiatives across the bank. This role requires expertise in process design, demand optimisation, sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional leadership.

Lead end-to-end strategic procurement activities from initiation through execution and close-out. * Lead cost transformation activity, driving changes to reporting, management information and systems that drive quantifiable value to the organisation * Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business objectives. * Partner with suppliers to deliver complex and market leading value enhancement programmes. * Ensure that project and supplier due diligence, onboarding, and third-party risk assessments are completed in line with regulatory requirements * Negotiate complex supplier agreements and contracts, ensuring favourable terms and risk mitigation with emphasis on cyber security, data privacy, SLAs and exit planning * Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive success. * Analyse spend data, market trends, and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions. * Track performance of activity, costs, and compliance metrics using tools such as Ariba, Cost Plan and Planview. * Present business cases and project updates to senior stakeholders and executive leadership. * Drive cost and business benefits (tangible & intangible) to deliver against Procurement and business targets * Operate at a highly skilled level to coach the business through the sourcing process enabling them to be market ready. * Use fact based decisioning to articulate options though the art of storytelling to senior stakeholders * Contribute to financial planning, including monthly forecasting, reviewing the spend versus budget status, key initiatives, opportunities and risks * Identifies, assesses, manages and reports risks, taking proactive personal responsibility for 'doing the right thing' in compliance with regulatory requirements and our frameworks and policies.
