Exciting and pivotal role, leading procurement across the UK Logistics Category. This role is a key appointment as part of a significant transformation programme for one of our global manufacturing clients and offers the opportunity to be instrumental in faciliating a fundamental change in direction for the business.

You will have:

  • Solid logistics procurement experience, and understand the levers of play and the nuances within the category
  • Be able to clearly demonstrate gravitas, credibility and commercial acumen: this role is strategically key and will have interaction at MD level, therefore you must be comfortable interacting with c suite stakeholders and gaining their buy-in
  • Have demonstrable knowledge of setting up a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programme for logistics suppliers
  • Ideally have in-house experience working with a logistics provider
  • Have managed large spends ideally in excess of $100m, purely on UK logistics, and comfortable making decisions at this level of responsibility
  • Be able to effect change management at grassroots level to generate and implement category strategy
  • Be comfortable working in an agile and fast paced environment

This role can operate on a remote or hybrid basis but will require some European and UK travel.
