Temporary Solutions Architect £699pd

Currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for an Interim Solutions Architect to join my FTSE 100 Energy client, and provide key support on both the functional and technical architecture of their trading systems.

This company is at the forefront of their field in terms of sustainability, with aims to become carbon neutral by 2050, and huge amounts of investment going into sustainable energy and the technology to support.

This is a contract to the end of 2022, offering up to £699 per day (Umbrella, inside IR35), with a blended approach to working from home and in London.

The Role:

This Solution Architect role covers both the functional and technical architecture of my leading client's trading systems, requiring strong technical ability alongside excellent domain expertise.

You will work across multiple projects, most significantly, the re-platform and re-architecture of their main transaction systems and the daily scrum on this. You will work closely with senior business analysts and technical teams to determine the new microservices and how these interact. With accountability across range of different projects, and major next contracts being taken on, you will define how this is managed from a systems and process perspective.

Liaising with key stakeholders up to a senior level, you will ensure the teams activities are aligned with the tech and business vision.

Requirements:

• Excellent, prior Solution Architecture experience, across functional and technical architecture, coupled with a strong domain expertise.
• Strong experience with Trading Management systems, particularly ETRM systems e.g. Planlogic or Beacon Inc.
• Experience proposing solution options and interface designs.
• Previous experience of working within a commodity trading business.
• Confident engaging with and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
