Temporary Software Developer £660pd (inside)

My client is a FTSE 100 Oil & Gas company, currently undergoing huge corporate transformation and sitting at the forefront of their field for sustainability and frontier technology. This is an unmatched opportunity to increase your marketability and skills, within a fast-paced environment.

You will drive operational value, working with a variety of solutions across advanced optimisation, machine learning and simulation learning.

This role offers up to £660 per day (inside IR35, through Umbrella), for a 6-month contract with flexible working from home and in London.

The Role:

You will articulate details gathered from the business, and work on Desktop Java's integration with other system to improve data quality, transform and map data.

A large part of this role will be the effective creation of extremely high-performance, low-latency code.

Requirements:

• Java development experience with rich desktop clients - fluent in the Java ecosystem.
• Previous experience working within a complex environment at a global scale.
• Strong algorithmic ability, or a solid mathematical background.
• Strong ability with Agile and the ability to fit into an Agile environment.
