Interim Procurement Manager CAPEX £24ph

Currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for an Interim Procurement professional with CAPEX and Civils experience to join a market-leading FMCG client, to ensure successful delivery across a varied portfolio of raw and packaging materials projects.

This role is an initial 6-month contract, paying up to £24 per hour (inside IR35, through Umbrella), based in Edinburgh with flexible working from home.

The Role:

Collaborating closely with Category Procurement Teams, you will deliver required Procurement outcomes across Direct Procurement productivity projects, leading on the effective and on-time delivery of raw and packaging materials projects.

You will liaise with the Technical Team to drive and deliver spec Change projects.

Manage and mitigate risk and identify opportunities for value-add.

Requirements:

- 5 years+ experience in Procurement, ideally strong exposure to end-to-end CapEx Procurement and Civils on large scale projects.

- Strong skills of supplier negotiation and stakeholder engagement.

- Excellent analytical and financial awareness; a strong understanding of value drivers.

- Proven track record of creating meaningful and actionable insights to support decision making.
