My client is a fast-growing consultancy, specialising in corporate sustainability and non-financial reporting. They work with some of the best-known names in European business to produce annual and integrated reports.

My client hires the most passionate people in the field to target publications on topics ranging from climate change and biodiversity loss to the increasing importance of mental health in the workplace and is currently looking for a Sustainability Writer to draft new text for our reports and edit text ready for publication.

This position would be based in Amsterdam, though my client is open to other locations and remote working for the right person. Candidates should also be aware that the position will involve a moderate amount of travel, mostly within Europe.

Your challenges include:

• draft new text for our reports and edit text ready for publication
• work closely with clients on the reports' structure and content
• research complex issues and conduct interviews with subject-matter experts
• lead Group communications online and on social media
• support our design and layout teams in producing charts, tables and graphics

To be successful in this role, you have

• native English speaker
• approximately 3-5 years of experience as a professional writer
• ability to communicate complex ideas in clear, accessible English
• willingness to work to often tight deadlines
• good understanding of business and finance
• above all, an enthusiasm for sustainability
