With their sustainability approached and great ethic across all their activities! We have a fantastic job opportunity to join a large retail and commercial financial institution.

You are a mission driven Sustainability Manager with the ambition to grow and make a difference. You have a proven track record in in the CSR and Sustainability space and are looking to join financial institutions that have an important role to play in addressing challenges such as financial crime.

Role: Sustainability Manager CSR & ESG

Location: Fully remote, travel to Milton Keynes occasionally required

Salary: up to £59K + bonus + car allowance and attractive benefits

About you:

You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in sustainability and CSR including experience of managing companywide CSR initiatives and sustainability programmes within other large corporate organisations. Other personal traits you have include strong commercial acumen and an ability to see the bigger picture, as well as focus on the details.

An innovative approached and desire to progress is key with our clients, so you'll need to demonstrate your ability to understand their needs and guide them to a solution. Organisational skills are a must, because you'll be managing multiple projects. You'll also need strong communication skills because you'll be presenting client workshops and writing compelling reports.

Your skills include:

  • Knowledge of CSR and Sustainability Policy development and ESG (Environmental Social Governance) including assessing appropriate ESG rankings participation.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and application of CSR/volunteering/non-for-profit reporting, tools, technology, and processes.
  • Manages CSR/volunteering/non-for-profit reporting, tools, technology and processes within large corporate organisations or non-for-profits.
  • Understands CSR reporting tools and frameworks and experience in delivering company-wide CSR initiatives for employees volunteering and engagement.
  • Clear understanding of sustainability impact measurement frameworks and performance benchmarks.
  • Knowledge of ethical banking issues and sustainability.
  • Degree level, preferably in relevant subject in order to demonstrate a thorough understanding, interpretation and application of sustainability theories.
