Supply Chain Manager - North Devon

1st Executive are currently working with a Global Electronic Manufacturer, based in North Devon, to identify a Supply Chain Manager to lead the supply chain team through developing and implementing robust strategies which will support the business goals.

Role responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the strategic direction for the Purchasing Function
• Raw Material and Sub-Contract cost reduction
• Lead an effective SIOP process with the business and identify and manage roadmap actions to drive the process to be world class
• Supplier selection, delivery, negotiation and quality
• Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities
• Maximise the effectiveness of Material and Production planning
• Incoming and Outgoing logistics

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Ability to think strategically with an innovative approach
• Leadership skills with the ability to organise, motivate and lead cross functional teams
• Experience of working with complex internal and international supply chains
• SIOP/ S&OP process expert
• Degree of equivalent in Business Studies, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
• CIPS qualifications - essential
