Supply Chain Co-ordinator
Our client is a Major Global Organisation within the Retail/Marketing Sector who are now seeking 2 individuals to join the team, due to growth in their business.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Making sure inventory is kept to a minimum whilst ensuring the client does not have any out of stocks
- Assisting with the co-ordination of a complex supply chain operation where the client, source and logistics operations are often in different countries
- Monitoring a fast-moving and time-sensitive inventory on a weekly basis
- Interacting with European, Asian and American colleagues on a daily basis
- Managing day to day requirements of program teams
- Work closely with Logistics Team to arrange timely collection of product from suppliers
- Monitor proposals coming in from Sales team, providing information on available inventory and program break dates
- Build relationships with suppliers and colleagues to manage their expectations or negotiate alternative solutions
- Managing returns process with program management and logistics
- Produce standard and adhoc reports to support department objectives and processes
- Carry out projects as directed by Inventory and Planning Manager to support department objectives
Person Specification:
- Experience of Supply Chain processes
- Ensure that inventory information is uniform and timely in terms of availability, product website, inventory newsletters and most importantly, pricing
- Ensure that all returns are repacked and ready for sales within two month of the programme ending
- Ensure that most spreadsheet/reporting is done using supply chain database and applications
- Build solid, mutually respectful and advantageous relationship with both internal colleagues and external suppliers
