Role: Supplier / Vendor Management Performance Lead - £100K
Location: London (3 days p/w in the office)
Salary: Up to £105K + Excellent Package
Overview:
A fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in driving global supplier / vendor performance across a market leading, global, Financial Services organisation! You will join a newly established global "Centre of Excellence" for Supplier / Vendor Management Office. The CoE function is 1 of the Top 50 strategic initiatives within the Bank currently and has responsibility for driving a best practice approach to Supplier / Vendor Management across the various business units - each of whom have their own divisional Supplier / Vendor Management teams. The CoE function has 4 key responsibilities:
1) Supplier / Vendor Governance
2) Supplier / Vendor Management framework
3) Training & Communication (ensuring the best practice frameworks are adopted by the divisional supplier / vendor management teams)
4) Supplier / Vendor Performance
The Role:
This is an exciting role, offering the opportunity for an experienced Supplier Manager or Vendor Manager to play a key role in defining the organisations global approach to Supplier / Vendor Performance Management. The jobholder will be aligned specifically to the Supplier Performance pillar, and will be responsible for 4 key objectives:
· Designing and Implementing performance KPI's and Dashboards for the divisional supplier / vendor management teams to deploy in the management of their strategic, critical, tier 1 vendors. This includes responsibility for driving the appropriate adoption of these tools whilst operating as the "product owner" for the balanced scorecards
· Managing the performance of the supplier / vendor management teams against 3 key bank wide measures:
a. Risk Reduction
b. Cost Reduction
c. Sustainability
· Vendor Allocation: the jobholder will own the process by which Vendors are allocated to an appropriate divisional supplier / vendor management team for bank wide ownership
· Act as the primary POC for all queries relating to use of tools/process/systems relating to vendor performance, whilst project managing changes to products and tools to meet business demand
Experience:
You will demonstrate:
- Vendor Management or Supplier Management experience - with evidence of driving performance across a portfolio of Tier 1 suppliers
- Knowledge of the end-to-end Procurement lifecycle, and associated tools/systems
- Knowledge of Vendor Risk Management
- Knowledge of Contract Management, including Exit Management
- Evidence of delivering Change / Transformation
- Experience gained in a complex Global organisation; Financial Services sector experience is beneficial but not essential
