Specialist, Sourcing and Spend Analytics

Our client is a Major Global Pharmaceutical Organisation who are now seeking an experienced individual who will be supporting the design and delivery of business intelligence reporting, and who will display strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

supporting the design and delivery of business intelligence reporting, leveraging insights from these reports

drive value through price negotiations and volume allocations across the supply base, and coordinate all aspects of the supplier onboarding and contracting processes

Play a key role in pricing analytics and procurement of private label products

Actively participate in, and coordinate price negotiations with manufacturers

Utilise and support the development of the Global Sourcing Dashboard in Power BI to help maximise value creation for the business

Work with internal stakeholders across the business to ensure an efficient and effective contracting process with new and existing suppliers

Negotiate contractual terms with manufacturers in respect of supply agreements

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers, customers and external bodies

Person Specification:

Experience of working in a BI/Analytical role (ideally Power BI experience)

Strong Analytics skills gained from within a Sourcing or Finance environment

Experience of working in a multi-cultural organisation

Sourcing/negotiating/cost modelling experience preferred

Excellent attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex written and numeric information

Ability to work effectively with others to accomplish goals in a challenging environment

Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

VBA programming experience a plus

Language skills a plus
