Do you have a background in Software Procurement, significant exposure to engaging with Tier 2 vendors and a desire to provide a superlative service to end clients?

Are you capable of optimising contracts and driving savings for multiple enterprise companies across the public and private sectors?

Due to continued growth and success within the software arm of their business, a FTSE 250 provider of IT services and solutions is looking for a Software Procurement Specialist to join their established and extremely effective team.

You will focus on identifying areas where customers can save money when procuring software, by establishing and maintaining relationships and negotiating with software vendors and distributors.

Working closely with the internal sales team and distribution partners, you will provide end-to-end ownership on sales opportunities, in order to enhance the customer experience and help elevate the company's reputation as the 'go to' strategic sourcing partner for blue chips looking to outsource their software requirements.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Background in Software Procurement (as broad as possible), ideally with knowledge of software optimisation
  • Significant Tier 2 vendor engagement experience - essential
  • Exposure to AWS Marketplace / VMware - desirable
  • Degree, CIPS or other relevant qualifications
