Role: Senior Supply Chain Manager for Information Advantage
Location: Farnborough + flexibility to work from home
Salary: up to £65K + benefits

About you

You are an experience Procurement and Supply Chain professional who is passionate about collaborative and strategic development. Being capable of developing strong relationship with key decision-makers to influence behaviours is important to this role - you will be collaborating with the Category Procurement Team to identify opportunities, frameworks that leverage Group scale.

As the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be leading and supporting procurement activity, elevating strategic value and output through the creation of new supply chains to facilitate business on a global basis.

You will have internal and external recognition as an expert, responsible for creating and driving the procurement strategy, sourcing process, supplier risk management activity. Experienced in creating Make Vs Buy determinations, influencing senior internal stakeholders to drive the optimum sourcing and business outcomes.

A business or engineering degree is required. You will also need at least five years in Procurement and Supply Chain related role and be MCIPS qualified.

  • Develop and nurture positive supplier relationships to achieve future growth aspirations.
  • Negotiates favourable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of technical equipment, custom engineered products, systems, software, or components.
  • Acquires and maintains understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends and supplier technology road maps.
  • Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to organisation policy and discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds.
