A major FTSE 100 pharmaceutical organisation have an urgent requirement for an Interim Senior Procurement Manager with a demonstrable project management skillset for the meetings & events category within marketing across the EMEA region.

This is an initial 6-month interim contract offering up to £500 p/d for a candidate to be based in South West London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engagement of cross functional business leads and functions across the EMEA region.
  • Project management - lead cross functional teams to deliver an agreed category strategy whilst adhering to specific timelines.
  • Ability to analyse spend data to track project value delivery.
  • Lead ongoing supplier negotiations, within the framework of the agreed Global agreement.
  • Ability to analyse spend data to track project value delivery against approved business case
  • Lead ongoing supplier negotiations, within the framework of the agreed Global agreement.
  • Contribute to Global implementation planning and change management initiatives.

Key Experience

  • Candidates must have demonstrable experience of managing a meetings & events or marketing category ideally within the pharmaceutical market.
  • A strong PMO project management skillset is essential for this role; candidates must have experience of managing and meeting project deadlines.
  • Project Management qualifications i.e. APM, PMP, PRINCE2 are desirable.
  • Candidates should have experience of operating within procurement functions with unmandated spend.
  • International procurement or project management experience.
  • Experience of pharmaceutical procurement is strongly preferred.
