Role: Senior Procurement Consultant

Salary: Up to £85k +£25% bonus + Private Medical

Location: Remote working, with occasional travel to offices in York (expenses paid) and typically on site with clients a couple of days p/m

Our client, a Procurement Consultancy are looking for a Senior Procurement Consultant to join their growing team.

80% of their market is in the US, with the rest of their activity centred around Europe and with a £5m revenue and ambition to grow to £10m but the end of 2025 it's an exciting time to get on board!

This role offers a great environment to nurture idea generation and creativity, perfect for a driven procurement professional that enjoys some variation to their role.

Role:

As a consultant, you carry out purchasing projects from A to Z for your clients. You analyze the problems, advise, justify and implement the proposed solutions. In permanent contact with your clients, you are their privileged contact person on a daily basis. You are both a good teacher and a good negotiator. You are used to managing a portfolio of suppliers and have expertise in one or more purchasing families.

Experience:

• 3 years+ Procurement Manager/ Category experience in either Direct or Indirect spend
• Driven and ambitious attitude is key for this role
• Degree educated
