You are a mission driven a solution focused team manager with interest for the environment / sustainability field, somebody who is process-driven and able to project manage effectively.

Role: ESG and Climate Change Manager

Location: Partly remote, travel to London and Oxford occasionally required

Salary: up to £52K + 10% bonus

About you:

You will seek to deliver accurate and timely fulfilment services, to meeting client orders through robust and efficient processes and controls. The role will focus on the excellent communication across departments working closely with sales, sourcing and supply-side project managers, and Finance to improve business performance and internal reporting, enhance overall business value, and meet all compliance and business requirements in a thriving and dynamic environment.

About the job:

  • Developing climate strategy, leveraging expertise and knowledge of market trends, risk and opportunity analysis, and the position of peers.
  • Continues to comply with increasing regulation on climate and improve our TCFD disclosures to meet investors and regulator expectations.
  • Engaging with business divisions to define climate change priorities and commitments, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Exploring commercial opportunities and advising the business (e.g. explore mobility solutions with CF).
  • Reviewing governance to empower the business to drive climate strategic actions and support coordination of working groups.
  • Identifying and collaborating with external bodies and organisations as appropriate to drive execution of strategy.

Skills and Experience

  • Effective team management experience and numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with systems and extract data
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Financial background preferred; Inventory management experience advantageous. Logistics or supply chain managers also considered
  • Understanding of carbon markets and EACs are a big plus
