1st Executive is currently working with a Global Logistics company, who are looking for a Senior IT Buyer to play a key role in sourcing across a Category spend of circa £300m. This is a fantastic opportunity for hungry and ambitious IT Procurement professional to develop their skills and experience in a global procurement function.

Role:

• Deliver on all sourcing needs across the IT category (Hardware, Software, Telecoms and IT-Consulting)
• Prepare/Lead supplier negotiations across the breadth of the category
• Drive engagement and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation; with a view to positioning Procurement as a trusted partner
• In turn, the jobholder will ensure all the cost saving opportunities are maximised across the Category

Experience:

• Experience leading supplier and tender negotiations within an I.T category
• Excellent track record of engaging and influencing key stakeholders globally
• Proven Track record Sourcing within an IT Procurement function
• Ideally Degree & MCIPS qualified
