Role: Senior Inventory Analyst

Interim: 4-month interim placement

Location: Remote working

Salary: £400-550pd (or if you're outside this range, please get in touch and let me know what your day rate requirements are/have been previously)

Exciting opportunity to join a growing pharmaceutical company going through a strategic transformation.

This role is accountable for performing regular and ad hoc analyses in the domain of Inventory and Supply Chain Planning for the company, alongside the implementation and improvement of dashboards and reporting systems.

Your responsibility:

  • Regular and on-request analysis of Inventory profile for all materials within the company. Root cause analysis on items with too long and too short coverage, proposal of possible corrective actions to management
  • Creation of buckets for granular inventory analysis, such as cycle, safety, excess and strategic stock
  • Leverage inventory and planning analyses to seek improvement actions on planning processes, Minimum Order Quantity optimization, order frequency and any other process that can create over or understock
  • Regular update of inventory parameters calculation, improvement of parameters calculation template, creation of what-if scenarios to determine best actions to optimise inventory
  • Collection of Supply Risk input for weekly management review. Improve data collection process and reporting structure
  • Support in creating regular and ad hoc reports for weekly S&OE and monthly S&OP process
  • Liaise with Supply and Demand Planning teams to enrich inventory analysis with business insights
  • Close collaboration with internal Business Intelligence team to migrate regular and concept reports into official dashboards
  • Regular check for Master Data reliability, liaise with relevant stakeholder to close master data gaps and improve underlying process

Your qualification:

  • 5+ years' experience in business analysis, ideally within Supply Chain function
  • Exposure to Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management and Business Intelligence domains
  • Lean or SixSigma certification an advantage
  • Very strong analytical skills and profound Excel knowledge. Experience with PowerBi or Tableau advantageous
  • Experience in re-organizing unstructured data for effective analysis and in designing dashboards to support business processes
  • Ability to meet multiple stakeholders' expectations in a fast-paced environment
  • Ideally University degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
