This a Senior Leadership role within Strategic Partnerships & Research team. The team has ultimate oversight responsibility for all Asset Management relationships across our client's group.

There is a significant amount of development within the operating model and supporting platform and processes as our clients brings together multiple operations and ensures that all of our asset managers are in step with their Sustainability agenda.

Role: ESG Research Specialist - Senior

Location: London / Edinburgh (flexible location options available)

About you:

You will provide Strategic Partnerships business lead coordination for our Sustainability key strategic activities including business integrations, changes in external manager roles / responsibilities and implementation of our client's sustainability strategy.

The same time you will lead liaison between the Strategic Partnerships and the Sustainability team in all aspects of the development of our client sustainability strategy as they relate to their asset Management Partnerships and the development of these relationships.

You have to be able to work with the Sustainability team, developing and evolving our oversight Framework and coordinating Asset Managers to facilitate embedding sustainability requirements into mandates.

What do you need to succeed:

  • Extensive knowledge of the evolution of Sustainability agenda history challenges and evolution to position client as a leader in this space
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills with lead Relationship managers at our Asset Management Partners with exposure up to C-suite level
  • Extensive asset management product knowledge, with specific reference to the historical evolution of the sustainability agenda and the future development of manager engagement, including appreciation for legal, tax and regulatory Impacts.
  • Strong Knowledge of the structure and mechanics of matching adjustment, Unit Linked and with profits insurance books
