Location: North Acton | 2-3 days a week |Hybrid working role

Are you Supply or Demand Planning professional looking for your next challenge? This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, analytical and solutions-driven individual, with a keen eye for commercial awareness and inventory optimisation to join a busy and growing supply chain team.

Responsibilities overview:

The Senior Planner is the owner and executor of the forecasting and buying of all products for the company. Their main focus is to improve availability and inventory performance. They will also work with the product and NPD team to make commercial buying decisions for peak promotions throughout the year. They will also work cross-functionally to maintain web and store availability while ensuring our partners launch new product on time and with excellence.

  • As the owner of the Forecast and Buy plan, you will work collaboratively and proactively with commercial and operations to generate the buy plan for all products and packaging for the entire business
  • Create and share forecasts, place purchase orders, review stock levels and influence external suppliers to ensure delivery meets business requirement.
  • Take ownership for the Inventory strategy and discount strategy for seasonal promotional periods
  • Execute the breadth, depth and content of each promotion while monitoring sales to ensure revenue targets are met while maintaining availability
  • Work with the supplier team to regularly update the capacity planning documents required by all suppliers for rolling 12 months

Experience:

  • Experience in Merchandising or Supply Chain
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership, sound decision-making and the ability to quickly identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Accomplished planner with experience of supply planning and inventory performance optimisation for consumer promotions
  • Highly skilled at multi-tasking and prioritisation, working under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage workflow individually and across the team
  • Team player with a collaborative attitude
