You are a mission driven Sustainability Consultant with the ambition to grow and make a difference. You have a proven track record in climate risk and sustainability services and are looking to join an international consultancy company.

Role: Senior Sustainability Consultant Climate Risk

Location: Flexible, travel to London required

Salary: £59K+ 10% bonus

About you:

You are highly analytical with a solutions-focused approach to solving problems. Other personal traits you have include strong commercial acumen and an ability to see the bigger picture, as well as focus on the details.

A consultative approach is key with our clients, so you'll need to demonstrate your ability to understand their needs and guide them to a solution. Organisational skills are a must because you'll be managing multiple projects. You'll also need strong communication skills because you'll be presenting client workshops and writing compelling reports.

Reporting to a senior member of the Advisory Team, the Climate Risk Senior Consultant will be required to work closely with all members of the team, both Advisory and Business Development, to achieve Company objectives. External relationships are a key part of the role, with a requirement to liaise with project teams, clients, overseas offices, and representatives from partner organisation

As well as a relevant degree, you have at least three years' work experience within climate risk and sustainability services.

Your technical skills include:

  • Experience of performing climate risk analysis within a consultancy or similar client[1]facing environment.
  • Experience of stakeholder engagement and analysis including materiality assessment, interviews, workshops and peer benchmarking
  • Detailed knowledge of regulatory frameworks linked to climate change (e.g., TCFD) is essential
  • Familiarity with the recommendations of TCFD and other publications aimed at supporting organisations address, manage and prepare against the impact of climate change is essential
