I am looking to identify a Senior Category Manager for a leading Utilities company based in West Sussex.

Job Title: Senior Category Manager

Salary: £55K to £60K

Location: West Sussex

Role overview:

• Exciting opportunity to join a organisation going through fundamental change, where its Procurement function has been split and the sourcing has been outsourced leaving the Category Management to be the sole focus. This includes influencing behaviour of stakeholders, bringing insight and driving change.

Requirement:

• Agree and define category-specific strategies with the Head of Category and appropriate internal business stakeholder
• Lead category teams to implement and deliver strategies, and ensure adherence to best practices and governance framework
• Develop internal working relationships and seek alternative commercial opportunities that drive value maximisation
