I am currently recruiting a Senior Buyer for a growing housing association. They are looking for an experienced buyer who has gained experience within the public sector and who is familiar with the public sector procurement regulations.

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability requirements.

• Lead competitive tenders, RFQs, and RFPs, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.

• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and conduct regular reviews.

• Identify and manage supply chain risks, implementing mitigation plans.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.

• Deliver cost savings and value improvement initiatives year-on-year.
