Senior Analyst/Business Analyst- Pharmaceutical Products

London Based

Our client is a Major Global Pharmaceutical Organisation who are currently seeking and individual to take responsibility for providing in-depth analytics to support pricing decisions, and to work closely with teams in other business units in the US and Europe providing data consolidation and reporting. The individual will be a key member Individual is a key member of the high of the team, who will also support product launches including demand forecasts, product registrations, and pricing submissions.

Your key experience:

Track and measure forecast accuracy to actual sales, providing recommendations for adjustments

Product Forecasting and Demand Planning

Provide forecast analytics support to produce routine product forecast reports

Collaborate with commercialisation team to support sourcing and pricing decisions related to customer opportunities

Support ad hoc analyses related to growing and maintaining strategic sourcing agreements/partnerships

Pricing and Financial Analysis

Leverage various data sources to monitor daily market price changes and identify opportunities for products on both the buy-side and the sell-side

Regularly research and report on market competitive landscape

Support the submission of pricing documents for new product launches and any subsequent price changes

Support validation of monthly cost component changes and calculation of any inventory adjustments required for monthly financial close

Run reports and queries from various self-service tools such as SAP and SQL

Person specification:

Degree qualified or equivalent or MBA

Experience in business operations, planning, forecasting, analytics

Ideally work experience in a Pharmaceutical or Retail Grocery environment

Role requires strong attention to detail in ensuring high quality and timely deliverables

A resourceful individual contributor able to manage across a matrix environment

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management

Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including working in and building complex financial or forecast models
