Senior Analyst, Planning

This is an exciting opportunity new created and based in London with Our Client a Major Global Organisation who are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst who will be responsible for providing analysis and recommendations in business development, operations and strategic planning. Position requires daily interaction with teams in Ireland, and the US to address operations issues. Individual is a key member of a high calibre team responsible for leading various initiatives to support business growth.

Key responsibilities:

Provide support to Senior Manager and extended team on business development activities

Manage and maintain existing economic models to evaluate business opportunities including analyses to allow for varied deal structures and sensitivities

Perform analysis in response to competitive market activities

Participate in calls with suppliers and follow-up on commitments

Provide analytical support for the company which will allow expansion into Europe and Canada

Provide analytical support and sales trends for strategic customer initiatives

Evaluate potential supply and economic impacts

Accounting/Finance - Provide ad-hoc reports and variance analysis for month-end close and forecasts

Work closely with Ireland product launch teams to maintain and communicate pipeline changes

Risk management- update product list, launch timelines and revenue projections; provide business operations overview

Continuous improvement of operational processes including leading cross-function teams to execute on opportunities

Person Specification:

Bachelor's degree, a Masters Degree in relevant field or MBA a plus

Experience in vendor / procurement or sourcing management, business planning, operations

Experienced in financial and analytical modelling

A Minimum of 3 years experience in an analytical role preferably within an FMCG, Retail or Pharmaceutical environment.

Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Experience creating reports and business metrics

Proven track record of managing several high priority workflows concurrently and delivering results on time
