I am currently supporting a leading company operating across multiple industries such as technology, manufacturing, amongst others. The company is going through a transformation and looking to grow their procurement team
The ideal candidate for this role would have several years' experience purchasing IT and IT services & systems (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, ERP)
Responsibilities:
- You will take full responsibility for IT sourcing and the purchase of relevant IT commodities with the spend of 120 million.
- Maintain current supplier relationships and expand the portfolio through cross functional coordination
- You will be working internationally with over 130+ suppliers across Europe and Asia to manage all sourcing and procurement activities
- Responsible for the procurement and acquisition to development services, IT and software
- Conduct supplier negotiations to generate cost savings
- Analyze project requirements to determine the appropriate and correct software requirements
- Conduct an analysis and create offer analysis reports and conduct supplier selection activities for the assigned categories
- Conduct supplier nomination activities and contract management
Your profile:
- Fluent English and German
- 5 years' professional experience in purchasing - preferably in the automotive/manufacturing/IT industry
- Degree in Business or MBA is preferred
- Willingness to travel 30%
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
