Purchasing Assistant - Nights, Sunday to Thursday

Our client is a nationwide fine food supplier, who are passionate about supplying customers with a vast range of fine foods from around the world. They deliver an outstanding local service built on many years' experience.

They are now seeking a Purchasing Assistant to be based in New Covent Garden Market:

The Role:

Reporting to the head of food the purchasing assistant will be a key member of the sourcing and buying team.

Build relationships with supply partners

Manage products, ensuring goos in process and procedures are followed

Monitor and update cost and pricing, manage stock holding levels and forecast and source the very best in seasonal produce

Maintain consistent supply levels through accurate forecasting

Place purchase orders with supply partners

Source seasonal products and innovation to the market

Hours: 9pm-6am Sunday-Thursday
