Role: FM Risk, Compliance and Health & Safety Manager

Salary: Up to £58K + Package

Location: London / Flexible

Due to impressive, year on year, growth our client, a leading provider of FM Services & Solutions seek to recruit a Risk, Compliance and Health & Safety Manager to play a critical role in working on a large, worldwide recognised banking contract. The ideal candidate will need skills working with and managing large portfolios on a European scale. A corporate background is ideal for this role with a preference of working previously with banking. If you are used to operating as a strong point of contact either nationally or internationally then this role will be a great opportunity and a fantastic chance for to deliver on new challenges.

Role:

  • To be instrumental in maintaining client relationships on site
  • Be the single responsible H&S point of contact outside the US
  • To make sure Fire safety and audits are completed to company standard
  • To map indicators to all risks on the RSA
  • Co-ordination of the controls testing process within the department
  • Be responsible for whole array of products and services being outsourced
  • Ensure all testing is completed within the time frame set
  • Control all risks within the department
  • Responsible for the JORS tracker excel spreadsheet
  • Ensure all Operational risk events are carried out monthly and audited
  • To deliver engineering services across London: this would include all compliance aspects, asset management and the training of staff
  • Create H&S and environmental policies and associated procedures
  • To make sure all risk assessment actions are acted on for completion
  • Ensure that all PPM, reactive and project works are within the agreed contract arrangements,

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH qualified
  • Minimum of 3 years H&S experience
  • To be able to manage multiple projects
  • To have managed a large team before
  • To have experience of multi-site roles
  • Be experienced in managing and liaising with overseas sites (European)
  • Professional qualifications and memberships
  • Degree Qualified or job holder to be educated to at least HNC, NVQ level 4 or equivalent full technical standard.
  • IT proficient
  • To have a background within the corporate/financial sector
  • Strong operational experience
