This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a busy and expanding Project Management team to support construction-based project management commissions across Scotland. In this role you will support Construction Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery, often with respect to large or complex projects. You will also ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.

Key requirements:

  • Experience in a Project Management position within a Construction environment
  • Management of suppliers and stakeholders
  • Awareness of various contracting methodologies (NEC / JCT)
  • Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out
  • Governance and risk control frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently, diligent and with an eye for detail
  • Ability to produce formal reports and documents which clearly set out complex issues and recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in relevant discipline
  • Chartered Status (or working towards) with the RICS, CIOB, APM, Prince 2 or other equivalent institution
