Procurement Systems Administrator - up to £30k per annum

We are currently looking for a Procurement Systems Administrator to work in a small team with Procurement Category Managers, Programme Manager and Head of Procurement. You will play an integral part in ensuring that Procurement projects are delivered on time and that targets are achieved. The right person for this post will work closely with the Programme Manager and become the person to go to for any data or systems help needed by the Procurement function.

Some key responsibilities

  • Managing the Oracle P2P system, ensuring new records are created and issues with existing records are resolved within agreed SLAs
  • Liaising with Category Managers and suppliers to correct ensure pricing is reflected in Oracle system at all times
  • Provision of analytical support to the Category Managers with analyses on parts, pricing, volumes, tenders etc
  • Manning the shared Procurement email inbox
  • Actively identifying route-causes of weaknesses with the Procurement systems and associated processes, and working with stakeholders to develop and implement improvements
  • Supporting the Programme Manager with the coordination and administration of other tasks as and when required
  • Supporting the Programme Manager in proactively socialising new tools etc developed for the benefit of the Category Managers to promote a self-service culture
  • Coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes
  • Occasionally raising purchase requisitions and purchase orders

Must Have

  • Extensive use of enterprise systems such as Oracle or SAP
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and vast volumes of data
  • Some knowledge and understanding of the Procurement function is desirable
  • Good level of excel
