Key Function:

Long Term Contract Management, Supplier Performance and Improvement, Leadership and Management of Sub Contract Managers. Implementing Continuous Improvement culture across organisation through Supplier Problem Solving, 6 Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, 8D, Root Cause Analysis techniques.

This is a great opportunity for a Procurement Supplier Quality Manager to lead a team of Sub Contract Managers in a very challenging and demanding highly regulated industry. You will need a systematic and process driven personality - from technical engineering environments - and ability to coach startegic sourcing managers.

As a driving force and integral part of the leadership team this role is vital and critical to wider group strategy and performance - with ability to not only play a key role in informing and dictating group strategy whilst working alongside the Group Procurement Director and the Head of Procurement but also directly managing sub contract managers and coaching and developing skilled procurement professionals in deep complex long term contract management.

A background in Engineering Manufacturing, Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Nuclear or Medical Devices would be critical to navigate the levels of regulation and compliance associated with the service contracts in the role. Your expertise and credibility in these areas will allow you to ensure that the Group Procurement Strategic Plan is implemented correctly.
