Procurement Specialist - Systems & Tools - Detroit

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting and driving standardization and continuous improvement through the implementation of professional supplier management systems and tools
Identifying and understanding business needs and translating them into actionable requirements
Acting as the interface between our global business teams and IT experts and ensure detailed specifications are available, IT requirements are clearly defined, and implementation of appropriate tools works smoothly
Analyzing complex technical and business challenges, generating value out of procurement data, and identifying and solving potential issues sustainably
Leading and assisting systems implementation projects across the globe
Ensuring the timely availability of solutions to comply with customer, governmental, and legal requirements
Supporting the business in data management, reporting and analytics

Who we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
Sound knowledge of procurement processes and familiarity with standard systems used in procurement
Several years of experience in Systems and Data Management, preferably in a procurement environment
Proficiency in implementing and standardizing supplier management tools in a global environment
Experience in defining and documenting specifications and IT requirements
