Procurement Specialist - £45K

Are you an ambitious individual looking to fast-track your career in Procurement? Our client, an innovative, dynamic and agile market leader, is looking to recruit a Procurement Specialist. This is a fantastic development role for an individual with some indirect procurement experience, and with a desire to fast-track their career in a Procurement function undergoing significant transformation and up-skilling following the appointment of a high-profile CPO.

Role:

Working alongside other commercially minded, innovative Procurement professionals, you will be provided with an opportunity to join a growing procurement team resposnible for a spend of over £500M. With a large pipeline of imminent projects this is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop a range commercially innovative Procurement & Sourcing strategies that will drive value and opportunities for operational efficiencies that will be critical to the continued growth and success of the organisation. The jobholder will be expected to lead the full lifecycle sourcing process providing stakeholders will valuable market insight, at the very outset of any sourcing consideration, and steering there decision making process towards appropriate commercial procurement strategies. As such, it is expected that you build relationships and work closely with both existing and potential suppliers in order to leverage valuable market insight and to drive all aspects of performance improvement.

Experience:

  • Demonstrates some strong indirect procurement experience - ideally within a large, complex organisation.
  • Sharp, ambitious, and driven to continuously improve and develop your career.
  • Excellent stakehlder management capabilities, with the ability to develop strong relationships at all levels of an organisation.
  • Ideally Degree and / or MCIPS qualified.
