Salary: Up to £40k - £45K + Package

Location: Milton Keynes based office circa 1 day p/w + rest WFH.

Our client, a leading UK 'Blue-Chip' with an award winning Procurement team, is looking to recruit a dynamic, hungry and ambitious Indirect Procurement Specialist demonstrating a broad commercial mindset and a passion for innovation and value creation.

Role:
The jobholder will support a team of Procurement Managers, and will assist with the procurement of Indirect Services including Logistics, Transporting fleet, Packaging. With a large pipeline of imminent projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop a range of Procurement skills including spend analysis, market research, supplier identification, contract negotiation, as well as post-contract supplier performance and contractual adherence. The jobholder will be expected to support the full lifecycle sourcing process providing value analytical expertise across the RFX process. In turn, it is expected that the jobholder supports the supplier relationship management of business-critical vendors.

Experience:
This is an excellent opportunity for both professional and personal development in the procurement function of a prestigious 'Blue-Chip' organisation.

  • Demonstrates some experience of operating in a Buyer or Senior Buyer capacity for Indirects (ideally Logistics, Transporting fleet, Packaging)
  • Experience of using e-sourcing tools
  • Confident communicator with an engaging personality/excellent Stakeholder engagement
  • Analytical and logical nature, highly numerate with demonstrable experience of using Excel
  • Degree qualified
