Role: Procurement Site Buyer

Office Location: North Lincolnshire

Hybrid Working: 2-3 days pw in office, 2-3 days WFH

Salary: £36-45k + 10% bonus

Excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding global company that focuses strongly on sustainable working practices, a great culture and internal coaching and training. They operate across Europe and the US and have recently grown through a significant acquisition. The procurement teams are also significantly expanding, creating significant progression opportunities over the coming years both locally, or further afield in London or overseas if desired.

Fantastic role with a broad career-building scope that spans procurement and operational purchasing (P2P) for general industrial indirect goods and services, raw materials (directs) and logistics. You'll undertake the operational (transactional) purchasing activities (tendering, invoice query resolution, PO creation, master data - in conjunction with the process teams and systems) and follow-up on purchases with sites and suppliers to manage quality, time and cost issues.

It's a fun and collaborative team, with significant opportunities for progression. The HoP is looking for candidates that are either skilled and competent professionals, or, more junior candidates looking to progress. The company has a flat structure, giving you lots of autonomy and exposure to global SLT and stakeholders, with considerable training and coaching. Two to three days per week in the office, which provides an enjoyable culture and the opportunity to develop and learn from colleagues and peers.

Ideally, you will be an autonomous self-starter, driven and adaptable

Key competencies:

  • Procurement/purchasing experience, ideally with some experience in industrial indirect goods and services, raw materials, directs, CAPEX, logistics etc
  • Transactional purchasing, finance and accounts payable (AP) experience an advantage
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills - internal customer focussed
  • Experience of presenting, ideally to senior stakeholders
  • Experience of using data to forecast budgets

If interested, please apply ASAP.
