Role: Procurement Process & Strategy Manager

Location: London (Hybrid Working)

Overview:

If you have a track record in shaping and implementing innovative procurement and supplier management frameworks this is the ideal opportunity for you to play a critical role within a high profile Procurement transformation programme!

Operating in a "centre of excellence" capacity, you'll be responsible for developing and fine tuning the Procurement and Supplier Management framework across the breadth of the Indirect & Technology category portfolio's, playing a key role in shaping and delivering best practice and continous improvement initiatives to drive commercial value.

Role:

This is a critical role, which will have a direct impact on the overall success of the organisation, through your coaching of category teams, ensuring robust controls and governance are adopted, whilst providing guidance on best practice in dealing with suppliers.

  • You will support strategic supplier onboarding, develop and deliver due diligence requirements, and contribute to strategic projects in sustainability, risk management, and sourcing.
  • Additionally, you will ensure the right systems, processes, and support are in place for the procurement and supplier management team, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Your success in this role will be demonstrated through building strong relationships, coaching and supporting category teams, proactively adapting to change, and effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Experience:
You are an experienced Procurement professional able to evidence the design of procurement frameworks, policies, and processes within complex businesses.

  • You will demonstrate practical knowledge of developing and implementing Procurement & Supplier Management operating models and frameworks
  • Your awareness of governance and supplier assurance principles allows you to design and implement robust frameworks, driving improvement programmes and ensuring commercial best practises are upheld. Critical thinking, analytical abilities, and resilience will enable you to navigate a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • You demonstrate a keen sense of curiosity and a commitment to continuous improvement, dedicated to driving efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement and supplier management function
  • You can provide evidence of exceptional Stakeholder management, demonstrating the ability to influence, constructively challenge and confidently engage, explaining complex ideas in a simple way
