A leading provider of unique, bespoke flexible workplace solutions is looking for a Procurement Manager with expertise in Property & Construction to join their thriving community.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will take responsibility for development and delivery of the category strategy across Corporate Services, Building Operations, Consumables and Construction, identifying savings opportunities and managing the tender process with negotiation, implementation and ongoing management of supplier agreements. The team is very new, and requires maturity and experience within Construction to aid integration with key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will come from a blended Procurement / Quantity Surveying background, and will thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with an element of ambiguity.
This is a chance to stamp your mark upon a prominent, rapidly expanding enterprise, and become a major player in their Greenfield Procurement function.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, including expertise in one or more of the categories associated with Construction programmes and Operations/FM, plus knowledge of a range of sourcing strategies and associated Procurement best practice
- Demonstrable project and change management skills - able to lead cross-functional projects and deliver results to agreed timescales
- Hospitality / Property / Operations sector experience (desirable)
- CIPS / RICS qualified (desirable)
