Procurement Manager - Operational Excellence & Performance Improvement

One of the most recognisable FMCG/Retail players are continuing their growth plans whilst building on their high performing procurement function. Part of the growth is to recruit a Procurement Manager who will be responsible for the Operational Excellence and Performance Improvement. You will be tasked with coaching, mentoring and influencing best practice procurement solutions for the internal function to be more efficient and by providing the team with tools & training to deliver better results, in simple terms you'll be creating a centre of excellence for Procurement.

Role: Procurement Manager - Operational Excellence & Performance Improvement

Location: London

Salary: £65k + Car Allowance + 20% Bonus + Pension + Private Medical + additional benefits

Experience:

• Proven ability to engage & influence a procurement function; someone who has fantastic interpersonal skills and quite visionary
• Need to understand how to land change within a FTSE100 business, especially in a company where relationships are key to success
• You'll be a thought leader & know what industry best practice looks like through networking at events, conferences, seminars, etc
• Ideally come from a consultancy sector background where you will have built a broad commercial mindset
