This is a great opportunity for an experienced Buyer/Procurement Professional with a manufacturing background to join a global organisation as an operational buyer with some tactical responsibilities covering on site services including FM, MRO, Logistics and more traditional Indirects.

Proven stakeholder management will be key across high hazard manufacturing sites and stores. Engagement with a variety of different stakeholders will be fundamental in achieving wider strategic goals.

With no direct line management this role is more specifically about managing your category vertical's with a view to develop into full category ownership model in the wider organisation.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years' Procurement experience, with substantial exposure to Indirect categories; Professional Services, Facilities, Logistics etc.
  • Thorough understanding of Procurement processes and full life cycle sourcing and category management, including opportunity and risk identification, with the ability to autonomously build and develop strategies, gain business alignment, and deliver against them.
  • Exposure to or experience with drafting and negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships and outcomes using MI, KPIs and SRM stratagems.
  • Degree educated / MCIPS accredited (desirable).
