Exclusive Logistics Category Manager opportunity with an expanding, global, multi-£bn manufacturing that is currently undergoing a major logistics transformation to consolidate spend at a national level. Currently, hundreds of sites are largely conducting their own tenders. You will take ownership of the £100m+ logistics procurement category, play a key role in driving this transformation and manage relationships with senior stakeholders including MD, FD, SLT etc. Driving ESG will also be a huge focus of this role.
To be suitable, the client is looking for:
- Candidates that have managed logistics spend in the tens of £millions (ideally upwards of £80 million, >£100m desirable), ideally with the larger logistics suppliers/carriers
- Ideally 4-5+ years of relevant experience across both logistics and procurement
- Experienced influencing senior stakeholders, up to MD level
