Our client is looking to recruit a Procurement Manager to work on cross-category sourcing deals, including significant involvement in the Outsourcing, HR & Professional Services, IT and FM categories.

Role:
The jobholder will be responsible for providing procurement support to a project portfolio of spend covering assignments across the Indirect spend portfolio as well as specialist projects in the Outsourcing (BPO & ITO) space. This is an excellent opportunity for a hungry and ambitious candidate to work on the development and delivery of bespoke procurement solutions in support of innovative customer solutions for a market leading retail banking organisations.

The jobholder will support stakeholders with the design and development of 'intelligent' strategic sourcing strategy, assisting in the delivery of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle. It I expected that the jobholder be able to manage cross-functional stakeholders through the entire procurement lifecycle from concept through to contract signature and service implementation. The jobholder will also be required to support senior category managers in the design of their 3-5 year category sourcing strategies.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will present experience of working in a procurement role within the Insurance, Banking or Financial Services markets. However, applications are also encouraged from candidates demonstrating indirect sourcing experience gained in the Retail, FMCG or Pharma sectors.

- Experience of supporting delivery of end to end procurement across the indirect category portfolio

- Ideally presents some experience of sourcing within the outsourcing category space

- Track-record of developing stakeholder relationships in a complex business environment

- Excellent Negotiation and Communication skills

- Highly Analytical with experience developing MI and Reports for key stakeholders

- Ideally Degree and MCIPS qualified
