Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Location: Stratford, with ability to work from Sidcup, or Manchester
Agile working (office based 20-40% 3-4 days working from home)
Salary From: £49,675 to £54,000 depending on experience and location + Essential Car Users Allowance + Excellent Benefits

It is an exciting time to join their Group Procurement team. They have recently redesigned their structure to further improve their service with effective category management and business partnering, that strives for operational excellence!

They are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the process for procuring contracts for their stakeholders. As a Procurement Manager, you will lead the procurement, implementation and monitoring of contracts, agreeing and delivering with stockholder procurement strategies. Having had exposure to both the public and private sectors and have the expertise to handle all aspects of complex multi-million pound contract negotiation and management and have a strong commercial and legally compliant approach and have a successful track record in delivering outstanding value.

You will report into a Senior Procurement Manager and work alongside a team of fellow Procurement Managers, Category Managers and Procurement Officers.

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive and demonstrable experience in applying Public Contracts Regulations knowledge to the management of end-to-end procurement activity
  • Experience of delivering category lead and business function specific procurements
  • Knowledge of and experience of drawing up contracts
  • Able to demonstrate commercial and financial acumen
  • Able to prepare detailed tender/contract documentation and reports
