Procurement Manager Business Partner

Up to £65000 plus car allowance and Package

Locations: Milton Keynes, Swindon, Reading or Middlesex

Our Client a Major Global FMCG Organisation, are currently seeking an experienced individual who will be the primary business interface to business stakeholders in the sales, marketing and supply business; accountable for ensuring business satisfaction with regard to service and outcomes across the procurement lifecycle.

You will partner with the business to understand priorities, objectives, and act as champion for business needs within a Procurement context. You will help to shape and drive the agenda; identifying opportunities deliver value to the business and positioning these opportunities for further development.

Role:

You will be responsible for supporting the growth of the Procurement capability by developing key stakeholder relationships, operating in a "business partner" capacity, driving engagement across all business units. Key to your success in gaining a seat at the table for all key sourcing programmes, will be the ability to position yourself as a trusted advisor, by demonstrating value creation and cost saving opportunities. It is expected that you will be able to manage the delivery of the end-to-end sourcing projects and help manage cross-functional stakeholders through the entire procurement lifecycle.

In turn, you will support the Head of Procurement with the development of strategic sourcing process, policy and best-practice within this recently established function.

You will take responsibility for implementing performance improvement plans

You are the face of Procurement to business stakeholders, and accountable for bringing the 'Best of Procurement' to the business.

Experience of working in a "Business Partner" capacity with Procurement and internal stakeholders

Demand and business planning

Sourcing expertise

Strong SRM capability

Experience in collaborating with multiple teams and locations to drive common solutions and deliver a high-quality service.

Ideally MCIPS/ISM qualification.

Commercial negotiation skills.
