Are you a Technology Procurement leader? This is an exciting opportunity to introduce best practice, build stakeholder relationships and early engagement, own the spend category and demonstrate the strategic value of the end-to-end Procurement, whilst playing a key role in the development of a 'Greenfield' Global Procurement function, supporting the Head of Procurement with the ongoing design and development of the Global Technology Procurement, for a leading Law Firm.
Responsibilities overview:
- Drive effective stakeholder engagement and relationships across the Global category
- Create category plans aligned to overall service area
- Create, implement and optimise the strategy for the procurement
- Leverage deep category and market expertise to support in optimising value delivery from the supply base
- Oversee and manage strategic sourcing, supplier & contract reviews/renewals and negotiation activities
- Team leadership - 3 direct reports
Experience:
- In-depth Technology Procurement experience within a 'Blue Chip' environment
- Experience of leading, developing and implementing multi-regional category and sourcing
- Strong experience of developing stakeholder relationships and influencing senior leadership
- Demonstrable experience of applying best-in-class procurement practices, identifying, communicating and managing risks and commercial opportunities with stakeholders and suppliers
- Robust understanding of key legal terms -commercial contract structures
- Team leadership
- Degree qualified
