Role: Procurement Excellence Manager

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Hybrid: 1 day office, 4 days work from home (you can work from the office more if preferred)

Salary: Up to €98k + package

Excellent opportunity to join a leading global organization as a Procurement Excellence Manager, as part of the central procurement function. This is a global role and spans multiple countries and teams. There is an strong team dynamic, with a positive and inclusive culture. Artificial Intelligence ( AI ) will be a core focus of development and implementation over the coming years, offering the opportunity to drive advancement in AI throughout the company.

Scope of role:

  • Identify and implement procurement process improvements globally and locally
  • Lead coordination of the budgeting process across Procurement
  • Drive initiatives to incorporate Sustainability into the procurement processes
  • Develop and train Procurement and its partners on processes, policies and standards, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and legal compliance in each country and region
  • Plan and deliver training programs for processes and implemented technologies across Procurement, ensuring adoption and usage - including sustainability
  • Verify and consolidate reporting data (actual and forecast figures) of all Procurement KPI's, financial and non-financial
  • Optimize procurement processes for new acquisitions and the interaction with suppliers
  • Implement and drive usage of eTools to improve data and spend transparency across all Business ERPs; increase Procurement negotiation power and optimize supplier interaction (offers, eTenders, etc.)

Your Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years' International Procurement, Supply Chain or Finance experience, with 3 years or more at international companies with multifunctional structures and/or a business unit organization with decentralized decision-making processes
  • High standard of IT systems tools, at least with MS Office package (especially Excel and Ppt) - Ability to learn other tools and systems
  • Experience implementing Source-to-Pay solutions such as Ariba, Coupa, Emptoris, Ivalua, Sievo, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and business analysis
  • Bachelor's degree
